Constipation is a physical condition in which there is difficulty in emptying the stomach due to hard stool. It is a drop tested for constipation. DP 18 (Constipation Drops) is used for constipation and hemorrhoids, pregnancy and postpartum constipation. It gives effective result in constipation of children and old people.
Hydrastis Can: It is used in constipation, hemorrhoids, constipation during pregnancy and postpartum. It is also used in children and old peoples constipation. It is effective in rectal prolapse & anal fissure. It is also used in pain during defecation and prolonged pain after defecation. It is used in constipation with empty feeling in stomach, bitter taste in mouth, indigestion and gastritis. It is very effective in light colored stool, covered with mucus, torpidity of rectum and no desire for stool.
Constipation (Acute & Chronic), Habitual Constipation.
Adult: 08-10 drops, Children (6-12 years): 5-6 drops and Children under 6 years (2-5 years): 3-4 drops by mixing in 1/2 cup water 3 times daily before meal or according to the advice of registered Physician.
No significant side effect has been observed in proper dosage.
It is contraindicated for patients who are hypersensitive to any ingredients of the medicine.
